Penentuan Kualitas Perairan Sungai Indragiri Berdasarkan Koefisien Saprobik Di Desa Lubuk Terentang Kecamatan Gunung Toar Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi Provinsi Riau”.
Indragiri river is one of the largest rivers in the Riau Province. A study on the water quality of the Indragiri River based on Saphrobic Plankton Coefficient was conducted on July 2018. Samples was taken from three sampling points, far from human settlement, in the delta and close to human settlement. There were 3 sampling points in each station. Samples were taken 3 times, once a week. Parameters measured were water temperature, current speed, brightness, pH, DO, CO2, nitrate, phosphate, and plankton. Results shown that there were 11 classes of plankton present, namely Bacilariophyceae (5 genus), Chlorophyceae (7 genus), Conjugatophyceae (4 genus), Cyanophyceae (2 genus), Euglenophyceae (4 genus), Mediophyceae (2 genus), Trebouxiophyceae (1 genus), Ulvophyceae (1 genus), Eurotatoria (2 genus), Imbricatea (1 genus) and Tubulinea (1 genus). The water quality parameters values were as follows : temperature : 29.33 ℃, current speed : 25.73 to 27.29 cm/s, brightness :111.21 to 112.89 cm, pH : 6, CO2 : 7.21 to 7,33 mg/L, DO : 4.05 to 4.23 mg/L, nitrate: 1.97 to 2.54 mg/L and phosphate 0.22 to 0.26 mg/L. Water quality parameter values indicates able to support organism life.Keywords : Phytoplankton, Zooplankton, Micro organism, Plankton population.
