Analisis Pengendalian Persediaan Bahan Baku Kayu Menggunakan Metode Economic Order Quantity(Eoq) Pada Furniture Randa Perabot Di Pekanbaru

This research was conducted to analyze the optimal amount of wood raw material inventory, safety stock, reorder point, and total wood raw material inventory using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. The type of research that the authors do is descriptive using a quantitative approach. The type of data used is quantitative data sourced from interviews, observations and company documentation. The data analysis used in this study uses the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method.
The results of the analysis show that if the company applies the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method in 2015, 2016, and 2017 in the purchase of optimal wood raw materials, then the resulting savings in the total cost of inventory for wood raw materials in a row is Rp. 85,189,698, Rp. 90,341,369 and Rp. 89,548,340. Based on the analysis carried out, then Furniture Randa Perabot should use the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) in purchasing optimal wood raw materials, so as to minimize budget expenditure and save inventory costs.Keywords: Raw Material Inventory, Method of Economic Order Quantity (EOQ).
