Pengaruh Kompetensi Dan Lingkungan Kerja Terhadap Kualitas Pelayanan (Studi Pada Fakultas Ekonomi Dan Ilmu Sosial UIN Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau)
The quality of service provided by employees is an important element for the success of an organization. Good service quality will have an immediate impact on the progress or decline obtained by the organization. Service quality improvement can be done in various ways. One of the ways is through strengthening competency and a good work environment.
This study aims to determine how far the competence and work environment affect the service quality of employees at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences UIN Suska Riau. The study population included 5914 lecturers, staff and students, this study took 98 samples as respondents with the technique of drawing Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Data collection method is done by distributing questionnaires filled out by respondents, in addition the researchers also conducted a literature review. Data analysis method uses multiple linear regression using the help of SPSS version 20 application.
The results showed that simultaneous and partial Competency and Work Environment had a positive and significant effect on the Quality of Service of Employees at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences UIN Suska Riau with a percentage of 62.1% while the remaining 37.9% was an indication of other factors not examined in this study. As for the results of the study, it is known that the Competency variable is the dominant variable affecting the quality of service in this study.
