The background of the research was in 2016, precisely in March, the Kuantan Bay Regional General Hospital, Riau refused the Organizing Body's social health insurance patients due to the provision of drugs for patients who are not provided with the Social Security Organizing Agency, the drug vacancies that occur due to the owe Hospital Rp. 2.6 billion. In addition, the status of the Teluk Kuantan Regional General Hospital is not yet the level of the Regional Public Service Agency.
This study uses a qualitative research method approach. Primary data was obtained directly through interviews from key informants, namely the Teluk Kuantan Regional General Hospital, the Health Office, and the community. Secondary data is obtained from research documents.
The results of the study that the governance of Teluk Kuantan Regional General Hospital Kuantan Singingi Regency before using the Regional Public Service Agency experienced many problems in the management of the Regional General Hospital itself thus disrupting service, the Management of the Teluk Kuantan Regional General Hospital Kuantan Singingi after using the Agency Regional Public Services since 2017 starting from the Planning, Organizing, Implementing and Supervision stages have been effective. However, there are no direct programs that lead the supervision of the Regional Public Service Agency of the Teluk Kuantan Regional General Hospital, so that it is difficult to supervise directly by the party appointed to supervise, there are still weaknesses that need attention by those responsible for the Regional Public Service Agency at Home Taluk Kuantan Regional General Hospital.
