Perancangan Antena Mikrostrip Circular Dual-Band 28 Dan 38 Ghz Dengan Metamaterial Crlh (Composite Right Left Handed) Untuk Jaringan Komunikasi 5g.
In this research, a Circular microstrip antenna using the Metamaterial CRLH (Composite Right Left Handed) technique with Microstrip Line rationing has been designed for wireless communication network applications (fifth generation) 5G, by using CST (Computer Simulation Technology) software Microwave Studio. This antenna uses the MIMO and CRLH techniques to increase bandwidth and antenna gain, antenna designed using RT-duroid 5880 substrate with a thickness of 0.508 mm, which operates at frequency 28 and 38 GHz. The simulation results obtained frequency 28 GHz achieved with a return loss of -36,932 dB with bandwith 7.68 GHz,VSWR ≤ 2 and gain 4.91dB. while at frequency 38 GHz the lowest return loss is -32.977 dB with bandwith 6.41 GHz and gain 5.2 dB. In addition results obtained by the 2x2 MIMO antenna of 28 & 38 GHz are return loss of -36.972 dB, bandwith 7.84 GHz and, VSWR ≤ 2 and gain -4.76 dB. while at frequency 38 GHz the lowest return loss is -32.976 dB with bandwith 6.14 GHz and gain 5.92 dB.
