Pengaruh Abu Tandan Kosong Kelapa Sawit Dan Rhizobium Sp. Terhadap Bintil Akar Dan Pertumbuhan Vegetatif Tanaman Kedelai (Glycine Max L.) Di Tanah Gambut
This study aims to determine the interaction of giving effect of oil palm empty fruit bunch (OPEFB) ash and Rhizobium sp. on peat soil against root nodule formation and soybean growth and determine the best combination of soybean plant growth on peat soil. This research was a 4x2 factorial experiment arranged in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The first factor was the dose of OPEFB ash consisting of 4 levels, namely A0 = without OPEFB ash, A1 = OPEFB ash 2.5 tons.ha-1 or equivalent to 52.5 g per polybag, A2 = OPEFB ash 5 tons.ha-1 or equivalent to 105 g per polybag, A3 = OPEFB ash 7.5 tons.ha-1 or equivalent to 157.5 g per polybag. The second factor was the application of Rhizobium sp. (R) which consists of 2 levels, namely R0 = without Rhizobium sp. and R1 = with of Rhizobium sp. The parameters observed were peat soil pH, number of root nodules, number of effective root nodules, plant height, number of branches, root volume and dry weight of soybean plants. The results showed that the interaction between OPEFB ash and Rhizobium sp. can increase the number of root nodules, number of effective root nodules, number of branches, and root volume. Giving OPEFB ash can increase peat soil pH, number of root nodules, number of effective root nodules, plant height, number of branches, root volume, and plant dry weight. Applications of Rhizobium sp. can increase the number of effective root nodules. The combination of giving OPEFB ash 5 tons.ha-1 with Rhizobium sp. produced the best plant growth on the parameters of the number of root nodules, the number of effective root nodules, plant height, number of branches, and plant dry weight. Giving of OPEFB 5 ton.ha-1 is the best treatment for increasing soybean plant growth and the number of root nodules on peat soil.
