Gambaran Tingkat Pengetahuan Pasien Tentang Pencegahan Komplikasi Congestive Heart Failure (Chf)
Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) the condition of the heart fails to pump blood to meet the needs of nutrients and oxygen cells of the body and usually occurs in the left ventricle and can also occur in the right ventricle, if not handled properly will lead to complications due to lack of knowledge about prevention. The purpose of this study is to identify the level of knowledge of patients in preventing complications CHF. Quantitative descriptive research design with cross sectional approach. The sample in this study amounted to 30 respondent taken based on inclusion criteria using accidental sampling. The measuring instrument used is a knowledge questionnaire about prevention of complications that has been tested for validity and reliability. The analysis used is univariate to determine the frequency distribution. The results showed that the highest characteristics of respondents at the age of 46-55 years were 10 people (33%), male sex 20 people (70%), the highest level of education was in elementary school as many as 11 people (36.7%), had a family history with CHF as many as 17 people (56.7%), and the highest degree was in class II amounting to 18 people (60%), and the highest level of knowledge of respondents was at the level of poor knowledge as many as 14 people (46.7%). Health workers are advised to improve education for CHF patients so that they can properly prevent CHF complications.
