Hubungan Pengetahuan Dan Mekanisme Koping Terhadap Tindakan Bullying Pada Anak Usia Sekolah
Bullying is often occur around school-age children. One of the factors that cause bullying actions to school children is lack of knowledge about risks of bullying and coping mechanism in problem solving. The aim of this research was to know the correlation of knowledge and coping mechanism to bullying action in school age children. This research used descriptive correlation design with cross sectional method. Number of sample of this research were 63 respondens based on inclution criteria. This research used total sampling technique and used chi square test. Result of this research showed large amount of respondents were 11 years old ages (69,8%), lack of knowledge about risks of bullying amount (47,6%), maladaptive coping mechanisms amount (68,3%), and bullying actions for frequent categories amount (60,3%). The result of statistic test between knowledge to bullying actions obtained p value (0,018) < alpha (0,05) and result of statistic test between coping mechanism to bullying actions obtained p value (0,057) > alpha (0,05). The conclution of this research there was a significant relationship between knowledge to bullying actions in school-age children and there was a not significant relationship coping of mechanism to bullying actions in school age children. Based on these results of reseach it is expected to the school-age children to be able to solve their problem well and correctly, and have good knowledge to prevent bullying happen with their friends.
