Perbandingan Pendidikan Kesehatan Metode Jigsaw Dan Peer Teaching Terhadap Pengetahuan Remaja Tentang Seks Pranikah
The cause of premarital sex in adolescents is lack of knowledge, Health education is needed to increase adolescent knowledge about premarital sex. The aim of this research to compare of health education jigsaw methods and peer teaching to the knowledge of adolescents about premarital sex at Setia Dharma Pekanbaru High School. The design of this research was “quasy experiment” with “pre test and post test design”. The sample of the research of 36 respondents which was chosen by simple random sampling. Measuring tool used a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The analysis used was univariate and bivariate analysis using dependent t test, wilcoxon test, and mann-whitney test. The results of this study there ware no difference between health education using the jigsaw and peer teaching method on adolescent knowledge about premarital sex with p value (0,909)> α (0,05). Based on the results of this study, health education using the jigsaw method is recommended, this is appropriate with the experience of researchers that respondents in the jigsaw group were more active and mastered the material in the research process.
