Gaya Kepemimpinan Perempuan Di Kantor Kementerian Agama Kota Pekanbaru
The background of this research by the importance of leadership roles in an organization. Typically, an organization is led by a man, but as time goes on, women are able to lead an organization. The general description of the role of women's leadership who occupies public office can be counted on the fingers because the position is still dominated by men. Leadership is a key element in the effectiveness of an organization in achieving goals.
This study aims to analyze the style of women's leadership in the ministry of religion in the city of Pekanbaru. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method approach. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, interviews, and observations. Data analysis in this study used interactive model analysis from Miles and Huberman which included: data reduction stage, data presentation, and data verification to draw conclusions.
The results of the research can be concluded that the leadership of women in the ministry of religion in the city of Pekanbaru is more dominant using participatory leadership styles. Although the leadership sometimes leaders combine other leadership styles and also use the theory of situations in the application of leading a position.
While the factors that influence women's leadership style in the ministry of religion in in the city of Pekanbaru include: supporting factors and inhibiting factors. Supporting factors include: ability and work experience, while inhibiting factors are work environment, cultural barriers, and low motivation to lead.
