Partisipasi Komite Sekolah Dalam Pengambilan Keputusan Di SMP Negeri Bernas Pangkalan Kerinci

Background of this research is the important of decision making in an administrative organization, so as the school along with issue’s development of human resources, then come out ideas about the important of society participate on that is facilitated by school committee in making decisions in school. This too, instructs by decision of Indonesian Minister of Education No. 044/U/2002, here, school committee has role as advisory agency. This is strengthening by instruction of Indonesian Ministry of Education’s Government rules No. 75, in 2016 about school committee. It is mentioned that school committee has role to give consideration in determining and implementing educational policy. In organizing education, surely, we will face a lot of problems and the problems have to be solved by decision making steps. In that decision making process, It is better if the school committee that represent the society who also participate in making decision so that, it can produce the best decision to solve the problem faced by the school. This research was done in State Junior High school Bernas, Pangkalan Kerinci, Pelalawan Regency. Using quality approach, Sub focus of this research was level of school committee participation in making decision and some factors that influence the school committee in making decision. Data collection was done by observation, interview, documentation, and audio visual data collection technique. Then, data analyze technique was done by some steps, namely data organization, data transcription, data reduction, displaying data description and giving mean to the data. While checking the data validation was done by triangulation and member checking.
