Efektivitas Sistem Manajemen Informasi Kepegawaian (SIMPEG) Pada Badan Kepegawaian Dan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia Kota Pekanbaru
The background of this research employee complaints towards service personnel administration namely, the lack of effective data. Processing, the availability ofemployee data that had not been felt quickly, precisely and accurately in the personnel management information system. That some employee face problems in knowing employee data and other personnel administration, The purpose of this research was to determine the effectiveness of SIMPEG at BKPSDM Pekanbaru City and find out the SIMPEG inhibiting factors at BKPSDM Pekanbaru City.
This research used a qualitative descriptive research methods approach, primary data was obtained directly trough interviews from key informants, namely the head oh BKPSDM, Secretariat BKPSDM and employee of BKPSDM. Secondary data obtained from research documents.
The results showed that effectivity on state employee affairs information system (SIMPEG) at the office of Pekanbaru City state for human resource and development department was influenced by their input, processes and output. The element of informationtechnology could not be separated with implementation of SIMPEG. Integrated system between information technology and it’s implementation could be observed by their performances. Consisted of sub-system input, sub-system processes, and sub-system output the challenges for this system are the lack of employee, and slow performance.In The other hand, there are several benefit among other that have an obvious standard operation procedure to implementing this system. Also, Integration and cooperation between BKPSDM department with other SKPD department could be maintained.
