Pengaruh Campuran Tanah Inceptisol Dengan Beberapa Bahan Organik Terhadap Pertumbuhan Bibit Sirih Merah (Piper Crocatum Ruiz & Pav.)

This research aims to obtain the right mix of planting media for the growth of red betel (Piper crocatum Ruiz & Pav.). This research has been carried out in the Experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau, Campus Bina Widya KM 12.5 Simpang Baru Village, Tampan District, Pekanbaru City for four months started from June to September 2018. There search was conducted experimentally using acompletely randomized design (CRD), which consists of : P0 = Control, P1 = Inceptisol soil top layer + Chicken manure (3:1), P2 = Inceptisol soil top layer + Husk Charcoal (3:1), P3 = Inceptisol soil top layer + Cocopeat (3:1), P4 = Inceptisol soil top layer + Husk charcoal + Chicken manure (2:1:1), P5 = Inceptisol top layer + Cocopeat + Chicken manure (2:1:1), P6 = Inceptisol soil top layer + Cocopeat + Husk charcoal + Chicken manure (1:1:1:1). The results showed that a mixture of Inceptisol soil growing media + chicken manure increased plant height, number of leaves and the number of red betel plants.
