Distribusi Dan Kelimpahan Fitoplankton Pada Perairan Selat Rupat

This research was conducted in July – September 2018 with the aim to determine the distribution and abundance of phytoplankton and obtain an overview of the conditions of the waters of the Rupat Strait from fifteen stations with influenced by different water activities. The results of observations of identification that have been carried out indicate that the total overall abundance is 5,319.37 ind/l with abudance values varying at each station with range of values between 194.44-562.50 ind/l. The observations also showed that there were thirteen phytoplankton species with different variations at each station. Species found at each station are Aulacoseira sp., Isthimia sp., Bacillaria sp., and Probocia alanta.
