Abstract

Village owned enterprises (BUMDes) Buluh Manis Permai in Buluh Manis village, Bathin Solapan District, Bengklis Regency, have the aim of empowering the economy for rural communities, the existing empowerment will be directed to increase the economy of the community productively so as to generate high added value and more income greater than before by utilizing the potential of the village and the potential of the village community, the presence of BUMDes in Buluh Manis village until the implementation of various activities has not been able to provide more economic changes than before, some of the obstacles in community economic empowerment through BUMDes are human resources, information and budget funds that have not been able to support the community in improving economic conditions for the better. This study aims to determine the strategy of community economic empowerment through Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in Buluh Manis village, Bathin Solapan Subdistrict, Bengkalis Regency and the inhibiting factors of community economic empowerment through Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in Buluh Manis village Bathin Solapan Subdistrict Bengkalis Regency. The theoretical concept used by researchers is the concept of community economic empowerment strategy from Gunawan Somodiningrat and Sujianto. The type of research used by researchers is qualitative with a case study approach, while the informants of this study used a purposive sampling method. The results of this study are that Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in Buluh Manis village, Bathin Solapan Subdistrict, Bengkalis Regency have not been able to run optimally because there are still obstacles which are obstacles to carrying out activities or programs that have been made by BUMDes Permai Buluh Manis Reeds.
