Perbandingan Keakuratan Empat Distribusi (Lindley, Akash, Shanker Dan Sujatha) Untuk Pemodelan Kecepatan Angin Di Pekanbaru
Wind speed is the airspeed moving horizontally at a height of two meters above the ground. This study aims to obtain the best wind speed model in Peka- nbaru. Monthly wind speed data from 2008 to 2017 are used in four wind speed models in the form of mixed probability density functions, that are Lindley distribution, Akash distribution, Shanker distribution, and Sujatha distribution. The maximum likelihood method is used to obtain the parameter estimate whi- le Akaike Information Criterion (AIC ) and Bayesian Information Criterion (BIC ) are used to select the best model. This study obtained that the Sujatha distribution is the best model to describe the nature of wind speed and wind speed in Pekanbaru dominated by the wind speeds between 0.5 − 1 m/s.
