Komunikasi Ritual Ziarah Kubur “Atib Ko Ambai” (Studi Etnografi Komunikasi Tentang Budaya Ritual Ziarah Kubur Di Kecamatan Kubu Kabupaten Rokan Hilir Prorivinsi Riau)

ABSTRACT
The Atib Ritual Ko Ambai is one of the rituals that are still carried out or that are still preserved by other generations of generation. that is to commemorate the body of Tengku Abdul Pasai who has taught Islam correctly, and also the form of the expression of gratitude to the Almighty God. This ritual is carried out (carried out) on Three Days After Raya I’Dil Fitri, by visiting the Tomb of Tengku Abdul Pasai itself by using a boat (pompong). It is not just to carry out rituals but rather to maintain the relationship between the village and the other villages. The purpose of this study is to know the communicative situation, communicative events, and communicative actions in the Atib Ko Ambai ritual in Teluk Nilap village, Kubu Babussalam sub-district, Rokan Hilir regency, Riau Province.
The method used is a qualitative method using the Ethnographic Communication approach. The informants in this study were 7 people including 1 Indigenous leader, 1 person with the status of Caliph, 1 person with status who knew the meaning of the symbol contained in RitualAtib Ko Ambai, 2 people with status as community figures, 2 people who were youth status ) which carried out the Ritual. And data collection techniques using purposive techniques. After that it was done by observation, participants, in-depth interviews, and documentation
Based on the results of this study, it was found that the communicative situation occurred in Teluk Nilap village, Kubu Babussalam sub-district, Rokan Hilir regency, Riau Province. It was attended by lagsung by adat stakeholders, community leaders, youth generation etc. Communicative events in Atib Ko Ambai Ritual. And also communicative actions at Atib Ko Ambai Ritual
