ABSTRACT
The Geographical Information System for Mapping UKM in Tampan Subdistrict, Pekanbaru City, which is explained in this final project, describes the development process based on the problems that occur in UKM data processing for UKM mapping, Subdistrict processing difficulties, urban village data, and processing Category data. To overcome the problems that exist the author conducted several stages such as literature studies, observation and interviews and applying the waterfall method in the system development process. In the design phase, several diagrams, such as data flow diagrams, and entity relationship diagrams are made as references in system development. The data flow diagram has several processes for processing category data, processing sub-district data, digitizing regions, processing urban data, processing UKM data and processing display maps. Entity relationship diagrams have several entities. Category Entities, UKM, Kelurahan, and Kecamatan. With detailed design, geographic information systems for UKM mapping can be developed and it is hoped that this system can be implemented as a solution to existing problems.
