Pengembangan Modul Pendidikan Lingkungan Berbasis Potensi Lokal Untuk Meningkatkan Pengetahuan Dan Sikap Peduli Lingkungan Mahasiswa Fkip Universitas Riau
Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) on University Riau has implemented environmental education that aims to improve students' environmental knowledge and a caring attitude can apply it in life according to their fields of study. The obstacle faced by students in the limited source of accurate information and teaching materials as a reference for lectures. For this reason, research on the development of local potential-based environmental education modules is conducted to improve students' environmental knowledge and caring attitudes in the FKIP University Riau in August-December 2018. This research is development research with the ADDIE Model consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The parameters measured in this study are: (1) module validity; (2) student perceptions of the results of module development; (3) environmental knowledge; and (4) the cognitive attitude of caring for students. Data collection is done through: (1) field observations, (2) interviews and questionnaires, and (3) cognitive tests. Data analysis was performed descriptively. The results of the study show: (1) The results of the development of a local potential based environmental education module in Riau Province are classified as very valid (4,56); (2) Student perceptions of the results of module development are classified as very good (85.35); and (3) The use of local potential based environmental education modules can increase knowledge (N-Gain: 0.60) and environmental care cognitive attitudes (N-Gain: 0.497) students with moderate criteria. So that the local potential-based environmental education module that is developed can be used as alternative teaching material for Environmental Education courses especially at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education on University Riau.
