Karakteristik Morfometrik Ikan Selais Terang Bulan (Kryptopterus Bicirrhis, Valenciennes 1840) Di Desa Mentulik Dan Langgam, Sungai Kampar, Provinsi Riau

Kampar River is one of the flood plain river exposure in Riau Province. Morphometric character is one of the important key in identifying fish. This research is a morphometric study (Kryptopterus bicirrhis) that aims to find out the difference of morphometric character of male and female in Mentulik and Langgam of Kampar River. The method used in this study in survey method. The sample used amounted 120 fish with a 60 male and 60 female fish in each location research. The range of a total length of K. bicirrhis male in Mentulik 118-145 mm and 115-157 mm female. In Langgam 113-155 mm male and 130-170 mm females. The t test showed there is some difference between the character K. bicirrhis male and female in Mentulik and Langgam that is High Stem Tail, High Tail Fin, Eye Diameter, Abdominal Fin Length, Height of Abdominal Fin, Head of Height, and Height of Pectoral Fin.
