Pembentukan Tunas Dari Eksplan Biji Duku (Lansium Domesticum Corr.) Dengan Penambahan Bap Secara In Vitro
Duku (Lansium domesticum Corr.) is one of the tropical fruits that are in the public interest. Duku plants have many health benefits that have the potential to be developed. One method of duku plant multiplication in large quantities with a short time is in vitro culture. Duku seeds are polyembryonic, allowing for the influence of the type of division on the growth response. Benzyl Amino Purine (BAP) is a class of cytokines that fuction to shoots induce. The purpose of this study was to determine the best concentration of BAP on bud formation in duku seeds which, was split into three parts in vitro. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with BAP treatment (0, 1, 3, 5 and 7 mg/L) on Murashige Skoog (MS) media with observations 8 (eight) weeks after planting (WAP). The results showed that administration of BAP had a significant effect on the percentage of shoot formation, shoot time and shoot height. The highest percentage of bud formation was found in the treatment of 1 mg / L BAP and 3 mg / L BAP as much as 39.96% buds. The treatment of 1 mg / L BAP resulted in the fastest shoot time of 2.20 weeks after planting, and the highest shoot height is 2.02 cm. In this study, it has succeeded in inducing shoots of duku seeds cut in half longitudinally with the addition of BAP.
