Analisis Dampak Alih Fungsi Lahan Gambut Menjadi Hti Akasia Dan Restorasi Terhadap Biomassa P Mikroba Dan Enzim Fosfatase Tanah
The Giam Siak Kecil-Bukit Batu (GSK-BB) Biosphere Research is one of the area that has the largest peatland in Riau. Some peatlands in this area have been converted into plantations and industrial plantations (HTI). The transfer of functions greatly affects the shrinkage and changes in vegetation, so an analysis is needed to determine the effect of peatland conversion into Acacia industrial plantations and the restoration area on soil physical-chemical characteristics, total population of BPF, Pmic biomass and soil phosphatase enzyme activity. The peat soil samples from the secondary forest location (HS), restoration land (R), and industrial plantations (HTI) aged 1, 2, and 3 years in rotation 3 were taken using the Purposive Sampling method. Soil physic-chemical characters aware calculated by using the standard method with pH results varying between pH 3.63 to 3.97, soil temperatures ranging from 27.0 to 29.0oC, the weight of the soil volume ranges from 0.20 to 0.25 gr/cm3, dry weight ranging from 0.17 to 0.28/gr soil, water content ranges from 252.79% to 424.29%, and porosity ranges from 65,28 % to 84,55%. The total BPF population is calculated using the Total Plate Count (TPC) method with variations in values between 0.01 × 104 to 0.26 × 104 CFU / g soil. Pmic biomass calculated by the Chloroform Fumigation Extraction (CFE) method has a value between 254.36 μg P/g soil up to 2619.05 μg P/g soil. Soil phosphatase enzyme activity calculated by the Colorimetric method using Spectrophotometer at 410 nm varied in value between 0.08 to 0.96 μmol p-NP/hr/g soil. The measurement results show that the conversion of the GSK-BB Biosphere Research which is converted into Acacia Industrial Plantation and Restoration Area s an impact on the decrease in total population of BPF and soil phosphatase enzyme activity.
