Makna Simbolik Event Budaya Gondang Naposo Di Kabupaten Samosir

Tradition of Gondang Naposo is the young party of Bataknese which is means to foster a relationship between the younger generations and the maturation of independent souls. In the cultural Event of Gondang Naposo, there are symbolic aspects that have a certain meaning presented from the clothes, music, to the tortor movements performed. The purpose of this research is to know the meaning of symbolic, the meaning of product sosial interaction, and interpretation of cultural Events Gondang Naposo in Samosir district.
This research uses qualitative research methods with a symbolic interaction approach. The informant in this research is the tourism office of Samosir district, trainer, pargonsi, Event organizer Gondang Naposo, participant selected in aksidental. The data collection techniques performed are through interviews, observations, and documentation.
This results of this study show that the symbolic meaning of the cultural Event of Gondang Naposo consists of physical obejcts that include costumes, musical instruments, and colors of clothing that have a certain meaning in each part and social obejcts consisting of a type of tortor that performed by participants Gondang Naposo, and also mar umpasa (reply pantun). The meaning of products of social interaction include the use of cultural Events including the use of Gondang Naposo according to the tourism office of Samosir district which has a commercial values and not only culture values. From the trainer side, the Gondang Naposo has a cultural value, customary value, and artistic value. In terms of pargonsi forcing Gondang Naposo has cultural values, customs value, and the value of art. In terms of participants Gondang Naposo forcing Gondang Naposo have the value of culture, as a tool unipress, indigenous values and artistic value, and from the side of the community, the Gondang Naposo has cultural value and artistic value. The interpretation of Gondang Naposo includes closed action and open action. Closed action includes the player’s external and internal motivations, as well as feelings of fear, delight and pride in being part of a Gondang Naposo participant, open actions include the facial expressions of each participant Gondang Naposo and music players as well as the attitude of the players is compact and always cooperate.
