Sintesis Zeolit Berbahan Baku Lempung Maredan Melalui Metode Refluks: Pengaruh Konsentrasi Aktivator Asam Sulfat Dan Suhu Kristalisasi Zeolit
Maredan clay has 48,762 % of SiO2 and 26,248% of Al2O3 which can be used as raw material in zeolite synthesis by reflux. The clay was chemically activated 3 M and 5 M sulfuric acid, followed by physical activation at a temperature of 750ºC for 3 hours. Solids of activated sulfuric acid are mixed with 50 mL of 5 M NaOH and stirred for 3 hours, followed by a reflux process for 8 hours with variations in the crystallization temperature (80ºC and 100ºC). The zeolite synthesiz was characterized using XRF, XRD, FTIR, CEC and SEM analysis. Based on XRF data, synthesized zeolite is a sodalite zeolite which has a Si/Al ratio of 2.01 to 2.73 (H3M-T100
