Pyrazole is a 5-ring heterocyclic compound which consist of three carbon atoms and two nitrogen atoms in adjacent position, and parent compounds that are not substitued. Pyrazole compounds have a biological activities, such as antibacterial, anticancer, anti-inflammatory, antidepressant and antioxidant. Analogs of pyrazole 3- (4-bromophenyl) -5- (4-methoxyphenyl) -1-phenyl-pyrazole (TFP-4Br-4OMe) are synthesized through oxidative aromatic reactions of pyrazolin 3-(4-bromophenyl)-5- (4-methoxyphenyl)-1-phenyl-4,5-dihydro-pyrazole (PF-4Br-4OMe) and glacial acetic acid. Pyrazolin and pyrazole compounds are synthesized by microwave with 180 W and conventional heating with 85ºC. The purity of the compounds was determined by TLC test, measurement of melting point and HPLC analysis. Pyrazole compound were characterized using UV, FTIR, NMR and HRMS spectroscopy. The result showed that the pyrazole compound TFP-4Br-4OMe resulting in a yield of 16,04%. Pyrazole compound was screened through toxicity test using Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT) method. The result showed that pyrazole compound (TFP-4Br-4OMe) was toxic with LC50 was 19,055 μg/mL.
