Analisis Hidrologi Pada Lahan Tora Hgu 07 Untuk Optimalisasi Pengembangan Komoditi Lahan Gambut Berwawasan Lingkungan Di Kabupaten Siak
In Siak Regency, there are 10,000 Hectares land of Agrarian Reform Land (TORA) land which is a peat area and 92% of it is deep peat. Land area of 2,000 hectares of the total amount of TORA land contained in HGU 07, of the 2,000 will be distributed to the community and each get 0.8 Hectares. The local government of Siak Regency will manage the peatland productively in economic terms but not damage the peat ecosystem. Based on (Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 57 of 2016 concerning Amendment of Government Regulation Number 71 of 2014 concerning Protection and Management of Peat Ecosystems, 2016), peat ecosystems with a cultivation function are declared damaged if the ground water level in peatlands is more than 0.4 (zero point) four) meters below the surface of the peat at the point of compliance. Efforts to maintain groundwater levels above 0.4 m are to maintain peat always in wet conditions so that carbon emissions and the threat of land and forest fires due to land drainage can be reduced. This is certainly a consequence of the choice of what kind of commodity can grow well in land conditions with a TMA of 0.4 m. The choice of commodity types in the TORA HGU 07 land will also have consequences on the amount of evapotranspiration or evaporation on the land that can cause losses and a decrease in groundwater level. Therefore an analysis of the Water Balance on the TORA HGU 07 land was taken as a consideration to support efforts to optimize the selection of environmentally friendly peat land commodities in Siak Regency. Groundwater level fluctuations are predicted using the linear regression method. The results showed that the water balance was surplus in February - April so that the commodity could still live in accordance with government regulations that set groundwater levels above -0.4 m.
