Rancang Bangun Pendeteksi Dini Kebocoran Gas Lpg Menggunakan Sensor Gas Mq-2 Berbasis Arduino

ABSTRACT
The Era of globalization of this day , the utilization of LPG gas has expanded in the industrial, automotive, and household sectors. However, LPG gas also has the risk of explosion due to leakage. This study designed an early detection device for LPG gas leak as a deterrent to the explosion caused by LPG gas leak.. This tool uses MQ-2 sensors, Arduino, GSM 900A Module, Buzzer and Exhaust Fan. The working system of the tool is designed to use the MQ-2 sensor as an input for LPG gas leak which will be processed by Arduino. Arduino will send SMS notifications using the GSM 900A module and alert alarm via a buzzer and emmiting LPG gas using the exhaust fan. When the room is safe, Arduino will turn off the Buzzer and Exhaust Fan and send secure SMS notifications. From the testing that has been done, proved the tool works well detecting gas leaks at 1.8% LPG and securing the room to LPG levels
