Analisis Keausan Pada Pahat Mesin Perkakas Menggunakan Sinyal Suara
ABSTRACT
Machining processes in manufacturing industries such as machine tools required special monitoring during the operation process. Cutting tool is a component that needs to be monitored, because it is a part that often suffered damage or wear. Monitoring is done to determine the damage or wear that occurs on the tool HSS lathe and gurdi. The method used is the indirect method, where the sound signal is recorded by using the microphone as a sensor through the software. The sound signal obtained is then processed using the method of processing the signal is Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) and Wavelet Transform (WT) The results of signal processing, the magnitude of the tool lathe wear are 0.01093 v, 0.01602 v and 0.06445 v and the wavelet coefficient value is 0.8967, 0.9931 and 2.19. The magnitude values on the wear of the tool are 0.03646 v and 0.1273 v and the wavelet coefficient values are 1.077 and 1.584. The difference in magnitude and wavelet coefficient values and the characteristics of sound signals that appear indicate wear that occurs on the lathe tool and tool chisel.
