Sistem Pakar Penentuan Kemasan Makanan Menggunakan Metode Forward Chaining Berbasis Web
Culinary business, especially cakes and snacks typical of the region much in demand by Indonesian people. To maintain the quality of food up to the hands of consumers with good quality special handling is needed, one of them with good packaging and packaging techniques. Good packaging will influence consumers to buy a product and can provide convenience both in use and in storage so that consumers will feel satisfied. Packaging is a means of communication between consumers and producers. Appropriate packaging will increasingly influence consumers in determining product choices. Packaging is the activity of placing production into containers with all kinds of other materials that producers or marketers carry out to be delivered to consumers. This expert system for determining food packaging aims to provide solutions in determining the type of packaging that is suitable for the food to be packaged, based on the rules that have been set using the Forward Chaining method. Based on the results of research conducted, the Forward Chaining method was successfully applied to the system with an output solution in the form of a type of packaging that matches the characteristics of the food input. This expert system is web based. This system is tested Black Box with the results of the system that can run functionally according to the criteria in the system.
