Otomatisasi Lampu Ruangan Berbasis Arduino Uno
ABSTRACT
The use of room lighting that stays on when lights are not needed can lead to less efficient use of electrical energy. This study aims to create a device that can turn off and turn on the room lights automatically based on Arduino Uno which is triggered by human body motion, and generates a warning signal when the lamps are damaged. This research uses light sensor (LDR), motion sensor (PIR), buzzer, and relay. When the body movement is detected, Arduino will turn the room lights into on through the relay, then activate the light sensor to read the room lights condition. If the system is working but the light remains off, the buzzer will be turned into on. Also the room lights will be turned off automatically when there is no more physical movement detected according to the predetermined time in 5 seconds. From the test results it can be concluded that the automation of room lights based by Arduino system was successfully implemented accorded to the designed system.
