Pengaruh Tinggi Genangan Air Dan Pemberian Pupuk Petroganik Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tanaman Padi Sawah (Oryza Sativa L.)
ABSTRACT
The most widely cultivated food crop in Indonesia is rice, because it is a staple food for most of the Indonesia population. The need for rice is increasing along with the increasing population, causing Riau province to be very dependent on other provinces. Efforts to increase rice productivity can be done through the provision of water and the provision of organic fertilizer. This research was conducted to determine the interaction between the high puddles and organic fertilizer as well as getting the high puddles and the optimal dose of organic fertilizer for the growth and production of lowland rice (Oryza sativa L.). This research was conducted at the Laboratorium experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau from August to December 2018 using a completely randomized design with two factors, namely the high of a pool of water consisting of 4 levels: T0 (high puddles 0 cm / scattered), T1 (high puddles 5 cm), T2 (high puddles 7.5 cm), T3 (hihg puddles 10 cm) and the dosage of organic petroganic fertilizer consisting of 3 levels: P0 (without petroganic fertilizer / control), P1 (2,0 g per rumpun petroganic fertilizer), P2 (2,5 g per rumpun petroganic fertilizer). Data from analysis of variance was continued with Duncan's multiple range test at a level of 5%. The results showed that the optimal growth and production of lowland rice was seen in the high puddles of 0 cm and a dose of organic fertilizer 2,0 g per rumpun increasing plant height, maximum number of tillers, number of productive tillers, total grain weight, weight of 1000 grain and grain weight of dry rice per clump. The results of the study if the production is converted in units of tons.ha-1 obtained an average yield of about 6,0 tons.ha-1 by administering a high puddles 0 cm/scattered and doses of organic fertilizer 2,0 g per rumpun (400 kg.ha-1).
