ABSTRACT
Rambutan Street is a classified local road that connecting two sub-district in Marpoyan
Damai district, with street type 2 steering lanes, 2 lanes, 2 direction, undivided (2/2TB).
Determine the type of damage that occurs in each segment and damage level that happen can be
used as reference in road pavement maintenance business . As a result of high traffic loads cause
the road to become damaged, so that disturbing the comfort and safety of the rider. Determine
the type of damage that occurs in each segment and assess road pavement conditions at
Rambutan Street in Stationery 0+750 until 1+500, at Sidomulyo Timur sub-district, at Marpoyan
Damai district, be the purpose of this research. This research was conducted visually using The
Pavement Condition Index (PCI) method. Rambutan Street with a length of 1,5 km, which was
studied along 0,75 m, with length for each segment is 50 m x 6 m. Each segment is measured
dimensions and identification of the level of damage to get a The Pavement Condition Index
(PCI) value. The results show that damage occurred including Elongated Cracks, Punched, Hole,
Loose Grain, and Patches. The Pavement Condition Index (PCI) value for Stationery 0+850 until
0+900 is 15, for Stationery 0+900 until 0+950 is 10, and for Stationery 1+200 until 1+250 is 11.
The condition of the road is categorized as “Very Good”, so that Rambutan Street is no repairs
needed.
