ABSTRACK


The development of technology provides many benefits in the progress in various social aspects, one example is the room security system. This study designed a Laboratory Room Security Monitoring System Using an Android-Based Webcloud Server as a form of prevention of theft and as a monitoring of activities in the room. This tool uses IP Camera, NVR, Webcloud, Android Smartphone, UPS, Current Sensor, Arduino Uno, and SIM900A GSM Module. The working system of this tool uses NVR as a tool for processing recorded data was taken by an IP Camera. Recorded data will be saved to hard disk storage and to the webcloud server online. IP Camera has been supported by the motion detection feature when the IP Camera is detected by someone's movement, there will be a form of warning in the form of a Buzzer voice, and an email notification to the user, so that the user can carry out checks directly through an Android smartphone that has been connected to a CCTV device. In the event of a deliberate power outage by a burglar, the UPS will be a backup power supply of the CCTV device for a few minutes so that the user can check through an Android smartphone or the user can switch sources from PLN to Diesel. When there is a blackout, the current sensor will be active and Arduino will read the data from the current sensor and process the data and give a notification by phone call to the User. From the testing that has been done it is proven that the system works well in monitoring the safety of laboratory rooms.
