Analisis Risiko Cedera Berdasarkan Tingkat Lifting Index Pada Pekerja Di Pelabuhan Wira Indah Pekanbaru
This research was conducted in Wira Indah Pekanbaru Port. The loading and unloading workforce (TKBM) of the port is still using manual power to carry the loads. This research aims to determine the risk level of injury based on the Lifting Index value of workers at Wira Indah Pekanbaru Port. This research is a quantitative descriptive study, i.e. data obtained from samples analyzed according to the statistical method used is then intercoordinated. In this study the data collection techniques used were in-depth interviews to samples and observations directly to the field to obtain accurate information.
The result of risk analysis of injury based on Lifting Index level indicates that, the initial LI value on the first job (unloading), as many as 15 people belong to the medium injury risk category and as many as 9 people belong to the high injury risk category. For the initial LI value of the second job (loading), 4 people belong to the medium injury risk category and as many as 17 people belong to the high risk injury category. For the first and second job purpose LI values, all samples are included into high injury risk categories.
Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the lifting and removal of weights performed by TKBM Wira Indah Port can pose a risk of injury. Because the value of LI in this study ranged between 1-< 3 and ≥ 3. Therefore, it is necessary to check and re-design the position of lifting place and put the load so that the injury can be minimized.
