Metode Linear Multistep Untuk Mencari Akar Persamaan Nonlinear
This final project discusses the linear multistep method for finding a root of
nonlinear equations. This method is obtained by applying an inverse rule to
the explicit multistep method for obtaining the solution of ordinary differential
equations (ODE solver). Theoretical studies using the properties of the monotonous
sequences indicate that proposed method is convergent. Furthermore
from the computational tests show that the proposed method requires fewer
iterations than Newton’s Method.
