Uji Kompatibilitas Tiga Isolat Trichoderma Spp. Endofit Dan Daya Hambatnya Terhadap Fusarium Oxysporum Penyebab Penyakit Layu Fusarium Pada Tanaman Bawang Merah
ABSTRACT
Fusarium wilt disease caused by Fusarium oxysporum is one of the diseases can decrease yield of shallot plants. Control methodes that is more environmentally beneficial is using biological agents namely endophytic Trichoderma spp.. The research aims to determine the compatibility of three isolates endophytic Trichoderma spp. and obtain the best consortium in inhibiting F. oxysporum which causes fusarium wilt in shallot plants. Research was conducted at the Biofertilizer and Biopesticide Industry Business Unit (BICCOM) and the Plant Disease Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau, Jalan Bina Widya Km 12.5 Simpang Baru Tampan, Pekanbaru and conducted from November 2018 to February 2019. Isolates used in this research were F. oxysporum isolated from shallot plants, T. virens (TR-01), T. harzianum (AK51) and T. hamatum (AK21). The research was conducted by experimentally using a completely randomized design (RAL). The parameters observed were the compatibility, clear zone, inhibition and hyperparasitic type. The research indicated that isolates TR-01, AK51 and AK21 were compatible and had no indication of clear zone and had potency to be combined into consortium. Isolates TR-01, AK51, AK21, consortium TR-01+AK51, TR-01+AK21, AK51+AK21, TR-01+AK51+AK21 were able to inhibit F. oxysporum. Isolate TR-01 has the highest inhibition potency of 50.62% and the consortium AK51+AK21 has the highest inhibition potency of 42.18%. Hyperparasitic types of isolate TR-01 and consortium AK51+AK21 were coiling and trapping, isolate AK51 was coiling and trapping, consortium TR-01+AK21 was coiling, and isolate AK21, consortium TR-01+AK51 and TR-01+AK51+AK21 were a lysis.
Keywords: Consortium, clear zone, hyperparasitic types.
