Pengaruh Penggunaan Natrium Tripolyphospate (Na5p3o10) Terhadap Sifat Fisik Beton Cor Bawah Air Berlumpur
ABSTRACT
Concrete that used for underwater construction needs to be proportioned to spread readily and self consolidate, and to develop high resistance to segregation and water dilution. Diversity in the type of casting environment water such as muddy water also cannot be avoided. Natrium tripolyphosphate as an additive that able to make fresh concrete to be high-flowable and self-compactable. At first natrium tripolyphosphate is disolved, then mixed with cement, agregate, water and filler. Before making a sample slump flow test must be finish. The curing of sample carried out in mud water with real conditions. This research was prepared to evaluate effects of natrium tripolyphospate on the physical properties of underwater concrete with casting water as muddy water. The study was conducted experimentally on the physical properties of concrete including workability, porosity and permeability. Workability testing is done by determining the value of concrete slump flow. Porosity testing used 3 concrete cylinders 10 cm x 20 cm in 28 days. Permeability testing uses 3 concrete cubes 15 cm x 15 cm x 15 cm in 28 days. The results showed that the casting environment with muddy water can affect the quality of concrete.
