Implementasi Permendikbud Nomor 23 Tahun 2017 Tentang Hari Sekolah (Studi Kasus Smp Negeri 4 Kota Pekanbaru)
The background of this research is backed up the education as one as media to improve the human power in order to in crease the best quality of education. To make that aim comes true, the efforts of government agencies and private institutions are needed as much as possible in applying the educational systems and the curriculum. A such of those ways is attending the full day school program. Full day school attendance in Pekanbaru is divided into two arguments like as pros and conts for the parents, the teachers, and the best impact as encountered as the students. The aim of this research is knowing the implementation of the minister of education and culture policy number 23 of 2017 which is concerned on the days’ school and the effect of those all.
The theory of this research uses the theory of Edward III about the implementation of policy. This research has done by applying the descriptive qualitative method. The technique of sample of the data has taken by purposive sampling. The data has collected by using the observation method, interview, and documentation.
The result of this research is shown that the implementation of the minister of education and culture policy number 23 of 2017 which is concerned on the days’ school (a case study in state junior high school 4 Pekanbaru) has been running well, but there is still the bad condition on the tools and infrastructures. Therefore, those situation are included in the normal situation meant that there is no bad impact presented. More over, this research has been concluded that full day school program has given the impact for students, there are negative side and positive side. It can be seen the students’ acts during the school time.
