Pengawasan Pelaksanaan Fungsi Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH) Publik Oleh Pemerintah Kota Pekanbaru (Studi Kasus : RTH Putri Kacamayang)

This research is based on the need for green open space in every urban area in Indonesia. In each city requires 30% of green open space of the size of the area in the city. This city government Pekanbaru has not met these needs. And in the implementation of its functions. Pekanbaru City Government must conduct supervision on all aspects.
The purpose of this study was to determine the supervision of the implementation of Putri Kaca Mayang's RTH function and what factors affected the supervision of the function of Putri Kaca Mayang's RTH by Pekanbaru City government, this study used a descriptive qualitative research method approach. Primary data were collected directly through interviews from informants, namely the head of the park sector, the head of the maintenance section, street vendors and the community users of RTH Putri Kaca Mayang.
The results of this study indicate that supervision of the implementation of the Green Open Space function of Putri Kaca Mayang by the Pekanbaru City government has not yet reached the expected results, where in its implementation there are factors that can influence the supervision. These factors are communication, human resources, and community participation itself that has not been maximally carried out so that the oversight of the functions carried out has not been maximally carried out.
