Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Prestasi Belajar Ips Siswa Kelas VII Smp Negeri Di Kecamatan Tampan Pekanbaru
This study aims to determine the factors that influence social studies learning achievement of VII grade students of SMP Negeri in the Pekanbaru District of Tampan.
The hypothesis being tested is that there is an influence of self-concept, learning discipline, learning facilities and learning motivation on social studies learning achievements of Grade VII students of state junior high schools in the Tampan District of Pekanbaru.
This study uses quantitative methods with the population of the study is VII grade students of SMP Negeri in Pekanbaru District, namely SMP Negeri 20, SMP Negeri 23, SMP Negeri 40 and SMP Negeri 42 with 1091. While the sample is 296 students. Proportional Random Sampling sampling technique. Data collected by questionnaire instrument and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the path analysis of the results of data analysis showing that:
First, there is a positive and significant influence of self-concept on learning motivation in SMP Negeri Tampan District, Pekanbaru. Secondly there is a positive and significant influence of learning Discipline on learning motivation in SMP Negeri Tampan District Pekanbaru. Third, there is a positive and significant influence of learning facilities on learning motivation in SMP Negeri Tampan District, Pekanbaru. Fourth, there is a positive and significant influence of self-concept on learning achievement in SMP Negeri Tampan District, Pekanbaru. Fifth, there is a positive and significant influence of learning Discipline on learning achievement in SMP Negeri Tampan District, Pekanbaru.
Sixth, there is a positive and significant influence of learning facilities on learning achievement in SMP Negeri Tampan District, Pekanbaru. Seventh, there is a positive and significant influence of learning motivation on learning achievement in SMP Negeri Tampan District, Pekanbaru. Eighth, there is an indirect effect of self-concept, learning discipline, learning facilities on learning achievement through learning motivation in SMP Negeri, Tampan District, Pekanbaru.
The results of this study are expected to be useful for the goodness and improvement of student achievement in junior high schools in the Tampan District, Pekanbaru. The conclusion shows that students who have self-concept, learning discipline, high learning facilities will be motivated in learning so as to obtain high learning achievement.
