Pengaruh Remunerasi Dan Budaya Organisasi Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Universitas Riau
Human resource management is principally oriented towards performance improvement. Performance is something that can not be separated with the organization. Improved performance for employees at the University of Riau is inseparable from both external stimulus in the form of remuneration or internal organizational culture that is applicable within the organization itself. Remuneration is expected to provide employment impetus to employees to keep working hard. Besides giving a high spirit of work, the role of remuneration is very important in order to create high performance. This is because every employee has different needs and expectations.
The formulation of the problem in this research is how simultaneous influence of remuneration and organizational culture have a significant effect on employee performance at University of Riau. This research uses quantitative descriptive method. The nature of this research is descriptive explanatory research with the number of respondents amounted to 83 people.
The results showed that the remuneration and organizational culture simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees on the campus of the University of Riau, given the remuneration given to employees and the existence of bureaucratic culture that has been built so far, the performance of employees in the University of Riau Campus will increase. Partially, each variable of remuneration and organizational culture have a positive and significant effect on employee performance on University of Riau Campus, while organizational culture variable is the most dominant variable affecting employee performance on University of Riau Campus. Based on the results of Coefficient of determination test shows that variable remuneration and organizational culture able to affect employee performance variable at University of Riau Campus of 88.0% and the rest of 12.0% explained by other independent variables that have not been studied such as variable variables training, work motivation and discipline .
