Strategi Pengembangan Kawasan Objek Wisata Unggulan Candi Muara Takus(Tanggul Carata) Di Kecamatan Xiii Koto Kampar Kabupaten Kampar
Region development of Muara Takus tourism object inclucing religious and historical tour is important to be done. Every tourism object is developed, built, and managed well will increase either the number of tourists or local revenue. State Government for Youth and Sport Affairs has a strategy of developing tourism destination, developing tourism marketing, and developing partnership.
Based on theory,formulating strategy is needed by using SWOT analysis, they are: Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunity, and Threat. This strategy will be planned by Department of local tourism, Youth and Sport Affairs. This research aims at knowing strategy of region development of Muara Takus done by Department of Local Tourism,Youth and Sport Affairs. Research informant was the Head of Section Chief dealing with tourism bussiness development, Section Chief of BPCB, Chief of GERNASTA, culture figures,society, and tourism object visitors. Writer used Snowbell Sampling technique. This research used qualitative research method with descriptive data analysis. The writer used the data collecting method by providing an interview, an observation,and documentation.
The research result shows that strategy in developing Muara Takus tourism object cannot be implemented properly yet. This deals with various significant obstacles so that it influences the strategy success applied by Department of local tourism, Youth, and Sport Affairs in advance.
