Background and Purpose: Use of the same space between humans and elephants causes elephant-human conflicts. This conflict causes losses to both parties so it is necessary to prevent conflicts between elephants and humans. This study aims to formulate a model for preventing elephant-human conflict in TessoNilo National Park, Riau Province. Material and Methods: This study uses quantitative methods by collecting data by means of surveys. Data were analyzed descriptively and using a dynamic system. Results: The results showed that the conflict between elephants and humans was caused by the reduction in elephant habitat in the forest area and the increasing number of people who came in and around TessoNilo National Park with losses due to elephant-human conflict of Rp. 10-19 million while the most widely used prevention techniques around TessoNilo National Park are using carbide cannon and Elephant Flying Squad. In general, positive public perceptions of elephants and elephant conflicts with humans. The model for preventing elephant and human conflicts consists of sub-models of elephant feed, elephant populations and communities. Conclusion: The elephant conflict prevention model by simulating a reduction in encroachment in the area of 25% will produce food forages by 200% while reducing encroachment by 50% will increase food forage by 500%.
