This research aimed at finding out how the Implementation of Regional Regulation Number 18 Year 2007 About BUMDEs in Rempak village Sabak Auh Sub District, Siak and any factors that hinders it.
The used method was qualitative descriptive method. The informants in this research were the companion from the sub-district, village head, village secretary, BPD, BUMDes board and few people from society. The data is collected by using few techniques such as conducting interviews, observation and documentation.
The research results show the implementation of local regulations on BUMDes in Rempak village Sabak Auh Sub District Siak Regency has not run optimally. BUMDes which is expected to be the motor of economy in village is not able to maximize the potential of the village to develop its business units. The most prominent factors that impede the implementation of local regulations on BUMDes are low competence of less professional implementers in management of BUMDes and low participation of community to contribute in evolving BUMDes.
