Pengaruh Evaluasi Kebijakan Publik Dan Biaya Sambung Pdam Tirta Indra Terhadap Peningkatan Minat Masyarakat Dalam Pemanfaatan Air Bersih Di Kecamatan Batang Cenaku Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu

This research was to analyze the Influence of public policy evaluation and the connection fee of PDAM Tirta Indra to the increasing of public interest in water’s utilization in districts Batang Cenaku, the regional of Indragiri Hulu. This was a quantitative research which had been done by delivering quitioners to the respondence employees and oral interviewing between the researcher and the employees in order to get data. Moreover, the researcher also did a literature review. The population of this research was 1.199 employees, yet the samples were pursed into 92 employees. The data analysis technique which conducted by this research was by analyizing the sample answers using SSPS 16,5 for windows.
The result of this research was shown negative and significant effects between the evaluation of public policy and the interest of citizen. It could be seen in the result between variable test to the public policy evaluation and the variable test to the public interest, which showed t count was about 6.331 higher than t table was 1.980 at the level of trust, α = 0.05. Furthermore, t table which showed 2.617 at the level of trust α= 0.01. It meant that the alternative hypothesis (H1) was accepted to the influence of significant effects between free variable of public policy evaluation (X1) and the dependent variable of public interest (Y). Furthermore, there were significant negative effects and correlation between the connection fee and the public interest . this was shown with the test of free variable influence for connection fee to the variable of public interest. It was shown t count was 6.763 higher than t table was 1.989 at the level of trust α=0.05 and t table was 2.617 at the level of trust α=0.01. It meant that the alternative hypothesis (H1) was accepted to the significant effect between free variable of connection fee (X2) and dependent variable of public interest (Y). It could be seen that the multiple regression between the evaluation of public policy (X1) and connection fee (X2) to the public interest (Y) simultaneously produced the coefficient of determination (R ²) of 0.170. This meant that there was a big influence of public policy evaluation (X1) to the connection fee (X2) which simultaneously showed to the public interest (Y) was approximately 17% . Meanwhile the rests were influenced by other factors.
