Analisis Fasilitas Landing Movement Bandar Udara Internasional Hang Nadim Batam
Hang Nadim International Airport which has increased in the traffic movements every year, requires the development of airport facilities. Therefore, an analysis of air-side facilities is needed to anticipate future growth. The purpose of this study is to evaluate and analyze the needs of Hang Nadim International Airport’s minimum landing movement in 2026. This study uses two relevant references, including; ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) and dan FAA (Federal Aviation Administration). The existing Runway Length (4,025 m) is capable to serve the largest type of aircraft operating, namely B737-900 with a corrected runway length of 3280 m. Hang Nadim International Airport has 2 Exit Taxiways with dimensions of 150 m x 23 m and 2 Rapid Exit Taxiways with dimensions of 300 m x 23 m. The existing Apron of Hang Nadim International Airport has dimensions of 690,5 m x 76,8 m dan 240 m x 150 m is capable to serve 13 aircraft. The result of the analysis shows that the existing Runway and Taxiway conditions are still feasible to serve the needs until 2026. While the existing apron requires to be expanded to 1,600 m x 150 m which has capacities of 31 aircraft to serve the needs of 2026. The apron is designed to use Rigid Pavement with 46 cm thickness of slab concrete and 10.2 cm of subbase thickness.
