Pembuatan Mortar Geopolimer Berbasis Coal Fly Ash Dengan Variasi Konsentrasi Few Layer Grafena Dan Metode Curing Untuk Aplikasi Kanal Blok
Fly ash based Geopolymer have the same mechanical properties as OPC, but with better performance in acidic environment conditions. The study aims to see the influence of graphene and curing temperature againts to properties and resistance of Geopolymer before and after immersion in peat water. Procedure is consists preparation of raw materials, the process making of alkali activators, the synthesis of graphene and the process making of Gepolymer mortar. From the results show the increases compressive strength correspond with increasing of concentration as well as curing temperature, increase of compressive strength will provide a decline of porosity as well as water absorption. The highest compressive strength, porosity and the lowest water absorption is found in the graphene concentrations of 20 mg/mL at 80 °C is 29.554 MPa; 10.903 % and 6.034 % respectively. SEM analysis results show the graphene sheets will envelop the matrix and enlarge the crack path, while in FESEM analysis shows the graphene will fill pores and void in Geopolymer. From the result immersion in peat water shows that geopolymers have good resistance after soaking, it's characterized by a decrease average of compressive strength is 8.07 %. This study can be concluded, the addition of graphene can provide increased mechanical properties of the Geopolymer.
