Poverty Datamining: Analisis Pola Penyebaran Kemiskinan Kabupaten Dan Kota Se-Sumatera
BPS presents data set (datamining) and poverty information and indicators related to poverty issues in level regency/city and province. Poverty is one Fundamental issues serious of concern which become from the government and one of the important aspects of supporting poverty tackling strategies is the provision of accurate and targeted poverty data. The island of Sumatra is the region with the densest population after Java with the disseminate of poverty of 21.6%. The island of Sumatra has considerable resource potential in the field of plantation, but the poverty rate on the island of Sumatra is still high. The purpose of this research was to analyze the pattern of poverty disseminate based on category (cluster) regencies/cities in Sumatera, to analyze information revealed based on formed which patterns and to formulate appropriate poverty reduction. The research covered 154 districts / cities in Sumatera and 56 poverty indicators which are processed using factor analysis and cluster analysis.
The results showed that from the results of factor analysis, formed 10 main components/factors causing poverty. From the results of the pattern that is formed then obtained how to overcome poverty for urban areas is by increasing productivity, Increase revenue and development of the informal sector, For agriculture and plantation areas needs to be done poverty alleviation by way of elucidation program, development of processing industry and also pay attention to economic growth to be evenly in all region, For the coastal areas should do the development of fisheries and tourism sector in tackling the existing poverty.
