Kampanye Gerakan Penyelamatan Lingkungan (Studi Kasus Pada Revitalisasi Geowisata Bendung Irigasi Batang Teso Di Marsawa Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi)

The unlicensed gold mining activity (PETI) in Marsawa village, Sentajo Raya District, Kuantan Singingi Regency has caused environmental damage in Bendung Irigasi Batang Teso. Inflicting public unrest, to the rise of community movements pioneered by Karang Taruna Tunas Karya which is then called environmental movement of Bendung Irigasi Batang Teso, to restore function and develop existing potential to become a featured geotourism through environmental campaign efforts.The study aims to describe and analyse environmental campaign strategies, the role of communication actors and policy, to analyse supporting and inhibitory factors on environmental movement campaigns in revitalization efforts.
The research method is a qualitative method with a case study approach. This research uses Social Networks Theory and Ostegaard Campaign Model as the basic concept. Data collection techniques are conducted through in-depth interviews, observations and document studies. The determination of the informant is done through purposive technique, consisting of seven related parties; Karang Taruna Tunas Karya, youth volunteers #SaveWK, headman of Marsawa, Subdistrict head of Sentajo Raya, head of Tourism office, Head of Environment office, and regent of Kuantan Singingi. Processing of research data using the Miles and Hubberman data analysis techniques. As well as data validity inspection techniques or data validations using validation techniques by utilizing source triangulation type.
The results showed: First, the environmental campaign strategy implemented in the environmental movement of the Bendung Irigasi Batang Teso encompassing social media strategies using #SaveWK hashtags, enculturation approach strategies, and creative campaign strategies. Secondly, In this research also found Karang Taruna Tunas Karya has a role as a pioneer in the creation of movement, in the implementation of a campaign assisted youth Volunteers #SaveWK who act as a contributor to ideas and creative content. The headman of Marsawa and Subdistrict head of Sentajo Raya in this case as a bridge/spokesman on the related parties. Third, campaign blocking factors include; Reach of campaign audiences, funding, and asset ownership issues. While the campaign support factor is: Ease of campaign media channels, ease of affecting audience attitudes, as well as support from the government.
