Manajemen Komunikasi Community Development Pt. Riau Andalan Pulp And Paper Dalam Pemberdayaan Ekonomi Masyarakat (Studi Pada Program Sistem Pertanian Terpadu Dan Program Usaha Kecil Menengah)
Effective and efficient communication management in an organization will determine the level of success of the organization in achieving its goals and objectives. Community development is a special department of PT. RAPP to implement community empowerment programs. The purpose of this study was to explain and analyze process of communication planning, organizing communications, communication implementation, supervision and evaluation of community development program of PT. RAPP in community economic empowerment.
This study used qualitative method. The Informant of this study consisted of 13 people who were from PT. RAPP, empowered community, and and the government, while the object of this study is the Management of Community Development Communication PT. RAPP in Community Economic Empowerment (Study on Integrated Farming Systems Program and Small and Medium Enterprises Program). The technique of collecting data used in this study was interview, observation and documentation. In this study an extension of participation and triangulation was used to achieve the validity of data.
The result of this study showed that the process of communication in planning from CD program was started from reviewing the previous CD program, drafting the next CD program planning, conducting village consultation and finalizing the next CD program. Communication in the organization of the CD program by carrying out activities of need assessment and building relationships with relevant stakeholders. Communication in the implementation of the CD program conducts surveys, administration, assistance and training and reporting. Whereas communication in the supervision of the CD program is carried out annually to see indicators of success and evaluation of the CD program evaluation can be seen through a Community Satisfaction Survey (CSS) survey conducted by a third party from the CD program.
